The Carcharodontosaurus is a large, predatory dinosaur that lived during the mid-Cretaceous period, approximately 100-93 million years ago. It belonged to the theropod group of dinosaurs, which also includes famous dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus rex and Velociraptors. The Carcharodontosaurus is known for its impressive size, with some estimates suggesting it could reach lengths of up to 45-50 feet (13-15 m) and weigh as much as 6-8 tons.

One of the defining features of Carcharodontosaurus is its long, sharp teeth with serrated edges, which are similar to those of modern-day sharks. This suggests that Carcharodontosaurus was well-adapted for hunting and tearing apart large prey.
