History of the Artifact

The raptor was a small to medium-sized predator that lived during the Cretaceous period. Renowned for its remarkable speed, agility, and intelligence, the raptor was equipped with sharp, curved claws and a slender, bird-like build. Its ferocious nature and pack hunting behavior made it a formidable predator, capable of taking down larger prey. With its iconic appearance and role in popular culture, the raptor continues to capture the imagination as one of the most fascinating and captivating dinosaurs of all time.

These diminutive teeth are commonly known as "raptor teeth" across the board among collectors and paleontologists. A study examining solitary teeth from the Kem Kem beds reached the finding that only a portion of these tiny theropod teeth can be associated with an unidentifiable Dromaeosaur (true raptor), whereas a considerable number can be linked to an, as of yet, undiscovered Abelisaur. The visual disparities between the teeth ascribed to these two dinosaur families are exceedingly subtle, prompting us to exercise prudence and classify them as unidentified.
